Authenticity is extremely important. There are hundreds of hair distributors that claim they offer Indian Remy Hair, but in reality they send hair that originates from China in order to save money. With World Hair Extensions you have the confidence in knowing your hair is authentically Indi Remy.

Our Quality Control Process

Once your order is placed we go to work preparing your hair. The following process is conducted for each order.

  1. First, our staff personally hand picks your Remy hair and double checks for color accuracy. Keep in mind our hair has also been inspected before leaving India.
  2. After our trained staff hand selects your Remy Hair, we have two people check and confirm the length of the hair. Our lengths are accurate to the millimeter.
  3. Your hair is then washed with a Ph balanced shampoo.
  4. After washing, your hair is air dried allowing the moisture evaporate naturally off the hair. This leaves the hair silky smooth and ready for the rep carpet.
  5. The last step involves packaging your hair in a special protective packaging that keeps all debris and air born dust off the hair.
  6. Your Indian Remy Hair is immediately shipped straight to your door within 6 hours of your order. You'd be hard pressed to find a more expedient supplier.

The Origins of Indian Remy Hair

The roots of the word "Remy" come from the longstanding Hindu Ritual of making offerings at the Hindu Temples. In the East Indian religion of Hinduism, deities are represented by images and idols symbolizing divine powers. Worshippers tithe money and may make other various material offerings of value such as jewelry or food to these gods at the temple.

Women, however, commonly offer their hair as something that is valuable to them, as an act of humility or surrender of the ego. It is from these woman and this offering that we obtain our hair. The women's hair is cut, and often their heads are shaved. This may or may not be done by another Hindu, and may or may not be done at the site of the temple. The hair is then gathered and sold to us, and the money is then used to maintain the house of worship, as well as charities and other good works sponsored by the temple.
